why take the leather seats from an SVT? are they that much nicer than the leather seats in my Tique?

if you can find the leather seats from a contour or tique, you're probably doing just as well, plus, you'll be more likely to find them in the colour you want.

only downside to leather -- it's goldarned cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. BUt yes, it adds a nice touch of elegance that might not be there otherwise.

someone I know (no one who would be interested in this forum) had her leather seat done up with an aftermarket heat seater! SHe has some medical probs, though, which is why she did this... can't sit on cold for too long. cost her about 1000 for the job (done through ford), and she said there are 'hot spots'. so what, neat idea!

From what I hear, the SVT seats are bolstered better than the stock seats. I like the seat to hug me when I'm in the car so I don't have to keep myself from sliding around going through fast corners. I hate to say the seats in the '97 GAGT I drove were great (though the rest of the car's pretty crappy) compared to the SE seats.
