I think the judges had too many cars to look at and they were way understaffed. 5 hours to just get judged. I still had fun even though I didn't bring home the hardware but I should be on speedchannel as one of the Speed Channel camera men got me playing with my air ride while I waited to get judged.
That hunk a junk one!?!?!??! Are you friggin serious. When i saw the judges sheet and saw that first place was a contour a assumed it had to have been you. Thats rediculous. That car was so hacked together. I will give them props for all the custom fabrication and fiberglass work, But if you are going to put all that work into a car, take it to a pro to fill and paint. Your car was clean inside and out. Your car had attention to detail. That car was hacked together. I read on carlisles forum that ALOT of people got screwed in judging. None of the judges knew what they were looking for. Oh well, like you said, it was still fun even if we took nothing home.

Your Contours look great , guys .
Thanks for the compliment. The picture does it no justice, especially since i hadnt cleaned the finger smudges yet. I like though, because it makes my car look like its something sepcial or important
I was thinking about selling them. I just dont know if CEGers would be willing to pay for it.
The plexy is expensive and the vinyl is very time consuming to cut and weed. Plus, each piece is unique, so there is no making and cutting in bulk.
I was planning on trying to sell them at our local shows for $100-$150 depending on colors and detail.
Maybe if there is enough interest, i will make up a CEG only price.
