What's the easiest way to remove the AC condenser? Here's a tip. Look at your power steering cooler and make sure it's not rubbing the AC condenser. Mine wore a hole in one of the tubes. A new condenser is about $175. I'm going to try to have mine TIG welded. Any advise would be welcome.

No replies so I thought I'd share how to remove and install it. First off, no special tools required. Remove the two small screws at each end of the bracket holding the bottom of the condenser. Lift the condenser to unhook the two side brackets and let it down a bit. Remove the two 13 MM nuts from the inlet and outlet fittings. Drop the condenser out. Reverse to install, but replace the two "O" rings. Was easy. My Ford manual says the radiator, condenser and fan come out as a unit. That would not have been easy:)

One thing I forgot. I was able to buy the OEM condenser for $129.95 at a local AC supply house. AutoZone and Checker wanted lots more. The original is marketed as a Visteon brand. They also had the OEM oil.
