What's wrong with his 1/4 mile time?
And I've had a part time job for a while and I could afford more than a measly nitrous system. This is living at home, though if I didn't live at home I wouldn't be working just a part time job, wait actually starting monday I am working a full time and a part time job...... eh nevermind.

The thing that is wrong with his time is it does not make sense. To run a 15.5 in an SVT even, you still have to have a 2.3 60'. It is said that for every .1o sec of a 60' is .2 sec added to your ET. So a SVT with a 2.2 60' will run a 15.3-15.4 depending on if he doesnt mess up his 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 shifts. but as your 60' gets worse (i.e. 2.3-2.4-2.5) your ET gets alot bigger (i.e. 15.6-15.8-16) and so on. His time is pretty much impossible to pull off unless he 1: [censored] foots off the line (with a much more HP car) 2: catches up due to more HP 3: then slams on the gas at the 1320' mark to drop his Trap speed to 90 mph.
that is the only explaination as to how he can get that 60' foot and still yeild a 15.5 at the track.

Look who I was replying to. I know what is wrong with his time, but I was talking to him because he mentioned your time.

I got it, Kremit!!!
Nothing wrong with an SVT pulling a LOWER than usual time.. (easily doable...)
There is something wrong with the 15.5 from a STOCK (standard) v6...

Yeah i ran 15.4 in the middle of the [censored] summer, in 90 degree weather, with a bad clutch and a [censored] 3rd gear. i would say that is pretty good for a car that runs 15.3 stock in perfect condition. Plus i have 5 less HP and TRQ. mine is early 98 model.
Sorry K, i didnt see him rag on my post. but honestly, alot of SVT drivers cant hit the 15.3 mark

I just found that my rims (konig imagine silvers) weigh in at 23 pounds a piece, then when I consider the outside weight inertia and heavier tire, this could completely be killing my times...anyone know what the stock svt rims weigh in at? thanx ya

Wow I didn't realize there was such a weight difference between my SVT Focus wheels and my stock E1s. I guess the Bridgestone S-03s don't help either. There about a 6 pound difference between the two wheels. And I wondered why this thing didn't pull 3rd gear like it used to.
I say go back the track with your stock wheels and see what happens.
