My dash was warped pretty badly as well. Not that bad though... I ended up masking the area around it and using a sponge to spread contact cement on both sides of the dash. I let it sit for about 30-45 mins and then pushed it down. Its been a few days and so far so good.. *knocks on wood* Possibly an alternative solution...
