thank you for the info on the fix it kit. I don't know how to do car work myself - but will have my old guys look this over too!

man, im not looking forward to doing this, you think that dash was bad, you should see mine, not only is it curling up, the part flush against the dash is moving too

Why not have someone remove the glass, repair the dash, have a new windshield. I'm sure most have a stone chip they could claim insurance for. Sure beats pulling the dash.
