here's my yakima rack....

it does cut about 10% off my highway mileage, but it's not *that* bad....i still get about 25 mpg in ~80 mph cruising (vs. 28 w/o rack). wind noise is noticeable but not intrusive, and at highway speeds i can't really leave the sunroof "tilted" open due to buffeting. but, i hate trunk racks, so i'll keep using the ol' yakima...had this rack for about 5-6 years w/ no problems.
