Oh I know Russia was communist but people mix Communism and Socialism and they have become buzz words for everything America is not. There is a capitalist economy here, people seem to forget that. They do have a large social state though and that is where the US and Europe differs the greatest.
As for my studies, they will not be done for around 6 years. I still have to finish my BA and then I want to finish with a doctored, I will have massive loans unless I find a doc program that pays; there are a few.
