I think I love Ann Coulter. She knows how to make people discuss subjects with passion and zeal, especially if she's lighting off the arguments with some outrageous catchphrase. And she's handy with a sidearm.

Nope, I don't. However, having said that, I guess the better way to fight it were to re-consider some of our foreign policies - and I am not talking about the ones that involve Middle East solely - and the entire immigration philosopy. But... it was said and posted and discussed here and elsewhere thousands of times.

Fixed.

Are we forgetting this is the lady who said this: Canada is "lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent." I have nothing more to say about her. Her, Tucker Carlson and Michael Moore can all shampoo my crotch. Anyone who buys into either parties pundits clearly has no idea about politics and what the US needs.

That Canada quote is just the tip of the iceberg of ridiculous Coulter quotes. But I agree the extremist pundits on both sides are incredibly annoying... Coulter's liberal counterpart Rando Rhodes is no better.

It probably only takes one person with one finger to shampoo your crotch, Sean. What exactly do you mean by 'buy into'? And again, remote US political experts know everything. Not sure where Tucker Carlson comes into this, but that guy is about as insignificant and puss a pundit as anyone.

To put Randi Rhodes in the same class as Ann Coulter is quite the laugh.

Frankly, I can live without them both. Coulter does definately go over the edge on a regular basis with her statements, even if I know she's not being serious about what she says sometimes, the extreme twists are not needed.
Rhodes is a flat out danger to this country. She leaves out a lot of FACTS and context in many of her arguments in an effort to bolster her argument, but if you dig just a little, you can see that she just plain LIES or deliberately misleads people.
Her arguments about one of the nominees yesterday is a prime example. Talking about the deccent comments of the nominee in a 6-3 decision in a case against the state of Texas. She simply read her synopsis of the deccent and it was TOTALLY taken out of context. Never even brought up a single bit of background leading to the statement, nor gave any mention of the judges reasoning/justification after the fact. Now the Dems will probably confirm the judge anyway, so Randy & the Dems will look like freakish sell-outs.

I'd be worried if people actually listened to Air America or took anything said there seriously. I watched an HBO documentary on Air America and couldn't believe the sheer stupidity that flowed from their management and onto their airwaves. Randi Rhodes was the best example of that stupidity.

I'd be worried if anyone considered either of the two talking heads mentioned to be serious news sources.
FWIW I don't see how Rhodes is "worse" than Coulter... both oversimplify everything into a black vs. white issue so they can come up with sound bites that appeal to the lowest common denominator.
