Hehe. I still have one strut to change, all four tie rod ends and that damn oil leak that makes me have to drop the subframe to fix it.
On the bright side, both rear springs/struts are in. The rear control arms are boxed, the subframe is literally hanging by its bolts, but all the bolts are installed and awating torque.
The driver's front strut and spindle are in. The skidplate and front cover are off. Drop the subframe and it should be smooth sailing after that.

I think the worst is over. Dropping the subframe will be cake. IIRC, ten bolts on the oil pan, remove both belts, the oil pump and then I have reassembly. The other strut should go quicker too since I dont have to seperate two spindle assemblies.
I want it done by ten, eleven at the latest. That will give me time to get it aligned before I head to SLC. I do know that I will have the dirtiest car there....unless someone goes muddin at Kennecott. Derk, you up for that?

He was saying that he was going to be. for me. I dont know where my oil pump seal is at. Which means I am not going to drop the subframe for two inner tie rods only. I wanted to do the inner tie rods, oil pump gasket and oil pump seal to try to cure my oil leak. Dropping the subframe isnt bad, but its not something that I want to do twice. So... All I have left is the front right strut and the two outer tie rods and I am good to go.

Well I got my exhaust leak patched as well as I can do...I didn't even start it to see b/c I can't do anything else. You see my downpipe is 3in and the cat bach is 2.5 or 2.25. (stock) SO I won't truly be able to fix it until i get a new cat-back, but I got the scoop on...it looks pretty good...a couple little imperfections in te paint, but not that wet sanding won' take care of.
