If your going to shift at 2K RPM all day than why are you driving a V6 Contour. Especially an SVT. These engines are designed to run at high RPMS! You may as well go buy something with a low-rev pushrod engine.  I usually try to keep my engine ABOVE 2000 while driving since there's just about no power below there anyways.

not to mention that the carbon will build up much faster all over your secondaries!!!

im taking my car to track today, so ill post here what i do, im stock for now.....anyways yes my car does 0-60 in 7 sec range, i beaten alot of cars that are supposed to be in 7 sec range 0-60....like Probe GT, Cavalier Z24, Mustang GT(auto) Eclipse GST(beat him to 80 then he slowly passed me...) oh and i raced a GSX from 20 mph roll and beat him...anyways i wasent street racing so dont say nothing.  IT WAS A 1997 Mustang GT...

oh and one more, ur probobly gonan call BS but o well, i hang with SRT4 up to 60, or 3rd gear then he gave me a bad spanking.....the driver wasent the best but i guarantee he drove for 6-7 sec 0-60..

Hahahahaha, thats the best thing I've heard all day. Now I'm going to SRT hunting, once the SVT kicks in at 4000rpm its all over for the Neon.
