I do take it to 6750 here and there only when needed though, I meant 6500ish just because the needle tends to float above 6500 more than I want it too lol. The car has 95K miles and climbing, it's gotta last me a little while. However when I do get competition or start from a dig I can't give the car a bad name, I shift the closest I can to redline so I squeeze out the most power.

I normally shift around 2500-3000rpm when drving normally. Sometimes I will step it up to around 5500rpm in spirited drving. If I'm going all out there's only one place to shift...REDLINE!

haha V6 MTX 0-60 in 8-10 sec?? are u crazy lol........my 1995 V6 Mtx does 0-60 in 7.2 and its stock, I read alot of this treads and I realy think most of you gusy cant drive your cars worth ****, and you'r giving our cars bad names.... But then again my car isent any slower then SVT 0-60 and i dont know why

Wow.... alot of bull-shiznit just got poured into this thread. You might wanna extend the line on the 7 to make it a 9... then you'd be about right.
