Click the edit button on either one of my posts, and you can see how it was done. I've been thinking about painting it black myself...just haven't had the time yet. ------------------ Joey 2000 SVT Black #1811 of 2150 MODERATOR www.svtperformance.com If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

Sorry no pics yet...My car is gonna be changin its look big time and I don't have a digital camera so I don't want to spend money on getting pictures developed for just a few new mods. It doesn't look nearly as cool as the carbon fiber. That looks awesome...now I think I'm gonna change my black to that.

How about just leaving it clear after sanding the blue part off? You could then paint the part behind the clear whatever color you want. How do you think that would look?

Hey Michillion,
Could you get me a carbon fiber emblem like that or tell me what I need to do. I appreciate your help.

I'm not sure I'm following you. I first sanded the blue off. I then peeled the chrome Ford logo out as much as possible. I then painted the back of the emblem silver. This made the Ford logo silver so I sanded the silver off the back of the emblem and made it as clear as I could get it. I then painted the rest of black. I then glued the emblem back in place. If your talking about painting the piece the emblem sticks to, I'm not sure that would look any different than painting the back of the emblem. It would also be much more difficult to paint that part and take it off if you didn't like it.
