You need to heat them with a hairdryer or a hot air gun to release the glue first, then it will come off easy. In the winter, well you are just screwed, wait till summer, they will come off easy

Thats what I did for the front one cause I could remove it from the car. I guess i'll have to wait til summer to get rear off cause I gots no electrical outlets near my assigned parking space (darn apartment complexes) thx Judge

What does the bodywork look like after you have removed the svt emblem? Is there a big spot or something?

BB: There will a glue outline on your car forever!! Just kidding...bug and tar remover will take glue off and then just buff it and you all good...

Warm weather, soap and water, and dental floss did the trick for me. Can't wait to get rid of the "SVT" emblem on the rear end. Love that totally naked look!

Alright, I think I may have changed my mind about replacing my ford emblems with the SVT emblems. I was looking at some old posts and found instructions on how to paint the background color of the ford emblem. I think I may paint it body color, which is black. What do you guys think?

Michillion, I did this to the front one. Its black with a silver ford logo. Looks very nice but you have to be up close to notice a difference. I was gonna paint it silver with black Ford logo to go with future color change but I couldn't get all the chrome out of the Ford logo.
