There was a campus bus that got a pretty good description of the guy and the vehicle. I knew what kind of car it was because when they hit me, and piece of their grill with their "silver bowtie" came off. Just got done searching around to see if I could find the car but this a campus area and there are plenty cars around. I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled though and figure out what I should do. The rear bumper is shot so I figure I should probably put on a better one while I am at it. Problem is, which one to get.... Oh yeah, is it even possible to claim an SVT bumper when I didn't have one to begin with? Last edited by maverik; 05/17/05 05:07 PM. Probably not unless you had it specified on your insurance policy... At least inform your insurance agent of the situation so they have record, giving them specifics of where & when & the description of the other vehicle. They can't hold anything against you unless you actually file a claim (another reason to let them know of the situation, you have a certain time period in which to resolve)...and then it would come out of your deductable anyway, which would probably pay for the bumper. So you'd be stuck w/ the cost of repair plus an increased premium. Did you get a police report? I've got a few eyes around campus keeping a lookout for the car, but with all those darn things around, its almost next to impossible to find. I will keep hope though. DanburySE CEG\'er D Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 319	sometimes its too late once you know what happened. one of my good friends father was driving his 3 week old Saturn VUE a few months ago on the rhode island connecticut line. a woman in a silver volvo cut him off and clipped him. he swerved too, hit the guard rail and the truck rolled 3 times. he was fine but soar, but the woman was never found. '98.5 Black Ford Contour SE Sport 5-speed. All the SE Sport features with all the 98features that were supposed to be decontented for 98.5 '04 Silver Toyota RAV4 L Auto. Fully loaded.
