Well DHL should deliver the part today or I will pick it up this evening if no one is home
but I have identified the IAC in my car as that silver cylinderical part near the fire wall but I thought that the computer has to be reprogrammed when the IAC is disconnected and replaced.

WTF?!! With your registration date and post count I'm beside myself on this one. You don't "reprogram" a PCM for anything unless you are tuning your car then yes a custom chip is needed. Even that's nothing that requires anything done to the actual PCM program. Cars are not complicated. Stop making them that way.

car is ready
old IAC was really carbed up.
this weekend will see if car still stalls
shop guy's test drive shows it does not.
engine had slight miss and had to be adjusted 2 degrees what ever that means. explain please. PCV hose looked good and was not changed.
