My son's(new to him) 96 Contour is giving me fits... First was a CEL that signaled a dirty fuel filter. I pay for a new filter and a fuel injection service. $192. Two days later the CEL is back on with what was to be determined a dirty MAF sensor. Midas cleans it. Normal part to "clean"? Anyway that very night the engine stalls 3 times in traffic after pulling away from a stop light and twice moments after starting the engine and attempting to drive off... Hmmmm pattern? The car just stops as if you turned off the key.. Quickly putting in neutral and restarting the engine works everytime but this is dangerous! What can this be? Unless it just coincidence its gotta be what Midas did or didn't do right.
