The color shift will take place in like 3 years or after like 400-500 hours of operation... So NO, there is nothing wrong with your kit.

thanks dude, yea I thought that was normal, I mean my light output will still be xenon but it'll take a while for it to become crisper? I dont want to drive around with yellowish white lights ya know..lol..but we'll see what happens. Hope they turn out well

btw the kit came with 2 Phillips D2S bulbs (4100K) I have no use for them since I'm got the 9006 rebased phillips 4100k D2R bulbs, anyone need them, PM me
