As far as this thread goes I don't support the ban but I can see how it would come about. There are not alot of deaths from dog attacks but what there are mostly involve children and two thirds of all fatal attacks involve Pit bull. Considering Pitbulls only makeup one percent of the total US dog population that's a telling stat. I've owned big dogs all my life, would I own a Pitbull with my three kids around? Nope, I wouldn't take the chance because one time would be one time to many.
