cons:

- bad fuel system; weak fuel pumps, returnless style causes 'surges' in 3rd where there is no fix

- weak drivetrain; 3rd gear syncro's commonly go, stock diff blows apart easily unless lsd is installed

- bulletproof motor with an achilles heel of oil starvation during sustained right hand turns (cloverleaf on-ramp) at rpms higher than 3k. Heads to not drain properly and pan becomes dry imploding the engine. "fixes" not proven: accusump, 'dmd', lastly a 3.0l swap.

- throttle issues ie. throttle 'hang', must keep intake system and iac stupidly clean and place a restrictor within the iac piping.

- *not* a drag monster, nobody's broken 12's, very few are in the low 13's.

pros:

- cheap, a european style sport sedan for a domestic price

- fun to drive, comfortable

- sleeper factor
