For the money they are tough to beat. Not great straight line but well balanced. They are just a lot of fun. If you shop around you can get a pretty good deal. I do not hammer mine off the line so my diff is still in one piece. Other than that I have the same maintance problems. I also have smoked a few "hot" cars, especially where there are turns involved.
