As was mentioned searching will get you tons of info but you may have trouble initially sifting through some of it.

The long-n-short of it is that these cars are as reliable or more so than most others and generally not expensive to fix.

They're strong suit is handling and top-end not off-the-line acceleration. They're 60ft. times aren't very good and that hurts them for serious 1/4 mile work. They handle well and can be great track-day, Solo II, street cars without having to put too much money into them. You can't buy anything nearly as good for the money. My SVT's would out run WRX STi's on the highway and on a road course along with plenty of other high dollar cars. They're also fun to drive because they're quite well balanced. Not as well balanced as my M3 (gotta update my sig) but way better than most.
