I just had my fuel pump replaced a month ago because the car was vibrating hard at idle and shifting hard and now its happeneing again. Plus all of a sudden it's like its getting NO gas untill i floor it at which point it literally jumps to life.

i know there are a few old threads about the fuel pump but the information is in bits and peices that I can't really sort out. Could someone school me on the issue as far as the "bad" fuel pump is concerned? That way i can explain to my mechanic what i need done and not just be told i need another expensive fuel pump.
