Yes I have looked into 17's a few times.

I'd want to pick up a rim that was in the 15-16lb range or less. REV makes a model (V IIRC) I really like and is very light but "OF COURSE" it's not drilled for our 4x108 pattern. Their REV X is pretty sharp looking.
Overall the selection in 4x108 really bites.

I don't like the "fancy shmancy" rims. I'm boring. Give me a nice 5 spoke with thin or flat spokes and I'm good.
I actually really like the stock rim. It's just a bit heavy for a 16 compared to most decent aftermarket rims. It's actually not bad weight-wise for a stock rim.

I'm still on the fence. I may just pop another set of rubber on the stock rims (IT NEEDS IT!) and wait to see if anything comes along. I plan to get Falken rubber either way. Size for size they are 3-5lbs lighter then a comparable tire from another manufacturer. That's crazy gains. It's not surprising considering they made race tires before they made street tires. The tread wear can't be any worse then the normal HP tire. (20-25k per set)

I painted the spindles, LCAs, & tie rods. Basically anything that had a chance to be seen behind the wheel. Also so the spindles don't rust.

I had painted it all before when I did the 3L (over 1.5 years ago now - DAMN does time fly)

Nothing fancy, I used silver just like the calipers, brackets, and rotors.

The struts are still black and say Bilstein and the springs are still red and say H&R.
