Bah... IMHO i think it's the drivers and not the cars

Their a couple high HP tours that are well n capable of cracking 12's wide open, dare i say high 11's... that FWD excuse is lame, lots of FWD cars are running stellar times, my main comparison to the SVT is 95-99 5spd nissan maximas, although they take to mods much better and have way more aftermarket parts available. Fully loaded GXE's and SE's weigh about the same as a SVT. Only difference is they have been in the 12's and 11's for a while now... the fastest max in the US as of right now is a MD resident... Hell they have an AUTOMATIC 5th gen (2000-2003) max running low 12's on nitrous... Despite having a award winning engine design i don't think there FWD setup, transmission gearing, suspension setups, etc.. are any better than a CSVT. But to play devils advocate for a second, IIRC wavdr (sp?) turbo tour ran a 13.5 with only 220HP @ 5psi? driver has a LOT to do with it... then you have demons 13.4 ALL MOTOR time... also the other turbo tour that ran a 13.2... so i don't think it's impossible, it just hasn't been done yet.
