Them Bastards cut through my damn 6-color inverter wires when they were working on my cluster! They cut right through the damn green wires about a 1/2inch from where it connects to the remote and they just stuck it back to the adhesive on the back of it to look like nothing ever happend .
Check out pic to see what I'm talking about.

Print out that page and show the Service Manager the damage. We're talking less than $30 shipped? I think they'll compensate you for it. If not, raise hell! It's amazing what some hellraising will get you from Ford at times. One time, not only did they fix my problem, but I landed an SVT sweatshirt, SVT t-shirt, and an SVT wind breaker.

If they did the damage, then yes, they should pay for it...

They may deny, but don't let them. Go all the way to the top if you have too....

the mechanic that worked on it was a total F'n moron....read my thread entitled "Damn Stealership..Bill Jenkin's saves the day" here in the General Forum, it explains everything. In a nut shell, they had my car for 24 days to fix my gas gauge (wasnt reading right) and to replace my Vehicle Speed Sensor. the mechanic went about 5 different routes, ordered 3 different parts before he finally came to the right solution that fixed my gas gauge.

I must of told the service rep 10 times to be carefull w/ the indiglo's b/c I had the specially made and everytime he said "dont worry we work w/ these all the time"

24 days, ruined 6 color inverter, and a PATS key that wont hold its programming (refer to the thread entitled "PATS key programmed but not programmed"

This is unbelievable.

Keep your cool, bring your documentation, and calmly explain the problem. Any dealer on the good side of customer service will take care of the problem. First work with the service writer, and if he/she will not correctly address the problem, then go to the service manager, and so on up the line. Play your "I want to get along with you if you will correct the problem" cards until they are exhausted at the dealer level before you go to Ford customer care.

thanks keith, good advice. I will try to keep my cool, but unfortunatly I'm one of those ppl that are very laid back most of the time but when someone screws up and it affects me I'm the first to rip someone a new 1. I'll try talking to the customer service guy that provided all the communication btw myself and the mechanic. If that doesnt work I'll ask for the mgr and the mech that worked on my car.
