I put my oval and my chrome strip in the dip and was wondering, how do I know when it's ready? I know I read a post a it said like two weeks, but the acid looks kinda of green and it looks like it is done. It has been in there for 4 days. Is that normal or is that like a stage? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

when the chrome is completely peeled off the plastic it's done....don't pull the chrome off by hand because it can tare\gouge the plastic if it's still stuck on.

4 days and done, I doubt it. It's probably an illusion and your seeing the shine of the chrome coming off.

ya the acid turning green is a sign its working...i too thought mine was working very fast after about 5 days when I could see the chrome flaking off. Took all of 3 weeks though before nuthing but the plastic was left.

Actually no lie, mine was done in 3 days. Removed it after 4 to be safe.

I didn't have to take a single bit of chrome off of it.

The surefire way to tell would be to pull it out and see if theres any chrome left
