You can cut the irony with a knife. Here the Europeans are trying to advise on what is appropriate in times of war during the 60th anniversary of the unveiling of the Holocaust. It is the same mindset being taken by freaks such as the author of the linked website that allowed the Nazis to take over Europe. Their goal back then was to avoid war at all costs, and it appears now that their goal is to come up with all excuses about why we (not even them) should avoid war.
