Haven't thought of one. Gonna sleep on it. I'm sure there has to be another way to do it that is much simpler.

Fugger is out. Bad news is that it looks like the SPEC Stage 3 Clutch does not like city driving. Not sure how much life I will get out of it still so I think I'm gonna just replace it to be on the safe side.

Glad to hear it's out. Guess what? I went to fix my TB and remember what I said yesturday about the screw. Yup it stripped on me. Took me 2 hours to get that bugger out.
Were you currently running the stage 3 clutch?

Stage 3 clutches are very fun on hot summer days in rush hour traffic. It will chatter for the first little bit then it will go away. At least thats what the one on the Mazda did.

Beyond stage 2, there are usually no springs on the friction disc. Stage 2 clutch kits are generally good enough for street use until you get into high (quite high) horsepower engines.

Actually Stage 3 is still sprung. There is an option for solid hub I believe and there are 4 and 6 puck options.
For an update, I spoke to Matt at SPEC and the starting thickness is only .310" and I am at .295-.300" so I am still good to go. Since the material the stage 3 is made out of is so high wearing they don't need to make the material as thick as an orgainc clutch.

Well....things got delayed at the balacing shop. Rotating assembly wasn't ready for this Friday. Hoping for Monday now. I just want to have it up and running before the long weekend now.
