I just ordered a new 2002 Subaru WRX yesterday in Santa Fe. I posted about this in the off topic forum. The more I thought about it the more I couldn't find a better substitute. I ordered the Sportwagon in Aspen White, with the diff cover, armrest extension, air filtration, and gauge cluster (boost p.s.i., volts, and oil temp). How can you beat a perfect safety record thanks to front and side dual airbags, side impact beams, four wheel disk brakes with ABS? It also has some serious power, a great driving position, a tasteful interior, sporty suspension, AWD, and room for people? I needed the wagon since I race bicycles, and carry a lot of stuff. It also has a .33 Cd, and a top speed of 140 but it's drag limited and I've recently read that it will be goverened to 130. I thought that its drag coefficient would be worse, with the huge fog lights and the air dam, but apparantly not. I love the car! Plus, it's Japanese, so it should be extremely reliable!
