I am curious my engine fan fuse is blown (Main fuse box underhood #2) and in the manual it sayws to have the dealer replace. Do I really need a dealer to get their grimey hands in there our is it a matter of simply pulling the fuse out (and how do I do that is it there some magic wand I need) and replacing. Although with my luck, when a fuse blows it is because something else is f#$%@d up, but at least it is a start. Thanks for any help.

What year? Zetec or Duratec.
Tough to say if it's the relay and location is/may be different.
There's a recall for fan issues, I can't remember what years.

It is a 99 CSVT and I am talking about the odd looking fuse that the engine fan comes off of in the fuse pod under the hood.
