I beg of you to go to IIRC Minusa.com and start in for options that interest you. I built a nice MiniS and was at 22K without the NAV system and other options. Hell the metallic paint is a $400 option. BMW-Mini has a low base price but the options really really add up!
WRX----YUCK...... Car stock is miserable in appearance and living in California a moonroof is a must have....Leather, oh yeah!
And to those complainers about Ford Leather, I think all of you have the Blue interior. Come sit in my buttery smooth tan leather and you will be amazed at how well Ford did. I have friends with the blue and it does not look-feel anything like mine. Theres is crusty and hard and really really thick. Maybe I got a good cow, but I'm really pleased and have had comments on how comfy my front seats are.
If you have a need for 4-doors get a G35 in 6-months for 26,100 MSRP w/ the 6spd! May not be the prettiest of cars but will be somewhat exclusive and 260RWHP w/ 6spds! What more can you want?
2-doors and shear HP, shop around for a nice WS6. Mustang GT's are Blah, everyone has one.... WS6 turns my head everytime!
