Funny thing is, my exhaust is stock. I told the officer, and he gave me a funny look "you're telling me thats the stock exhaust on a 99 ford contour" Yes officer, its the SVT contour. Fords performance version. You can look under the hood or under the car. "you didnt gut nothin?" i have done no work the the exhaust officer. "rev your engine son" I rev it. "roll up your window a bit" He shines his flashlight through the window. I have 15% tint on the front windows officer. "15% on these windows" yes sir. "wait here"
I figured i was getting a ticket for my tint. No big deal, its illegle in NJ. He never walked around my car luckily so he didnt see i dont have my front plate or a place to mount it. He came back 10 minutes later. "Its a warning"

He was very stern but did his job. He could have been a total dick. 4th time i have been pulled over since i started driving 3 years ago.

Glad it when well. Weird about the exhaust, though. Sotck SVT exhaust is VERY quite. 
Edit: How come the word "Dick" never gets censored.. but [censored] and [censored] and [censored] do??

LOL admin has a filter setup in admin options , he / she then adds words that can / can't be used ...guess Dick isnt added ...maybe cause its short for Richard ? LOL

I am not the origional owner. The owner before me was a member here. But i have had it through NJ state inspection and ANYTHING done to the exhaust would have failed me. I was on the gas when i passed the cop. My car is quiet at idle, just a little louder when accelerating.
How much louder to the MSDS headers make your car

Oh, more an that story dan. I got a certified letter from the national park servie. Inside was a ticket for "missinterpretation of funds; services offered. a fine of $1499.00
I never refused to pay the tow at all. I just wanted a bill. And after he sent the bill (8 months after) i sent him a copy of my AAA card and a note saying that if AAA wont pay, i will.
