This morning I took my car in to Ford for service and showed them the oasis wire harness report for my tour and after some back an forth produced a document stating that my car was more than ten years and refused to service it.

Can Ford refused to service ford cars?

I also went in to have my egr cleaned and they would not even clean that stating that if my car was six years old and with 110k miles on it, the owner of that ford shop has directed their service techs not to work on such cars not just tours but all fords.

This I just did not know about ford shops.

They shudn't be able to refuse anybody with a Ford that needs service....unless its aftermarket parts...i THINK thats the only time they can.

I would say yes. However, take it to another dealership and they may do it.

Just an FYI, while my enginge/tranny was being put into my car a pre-98 contour was purchased with only 60k on the clock...it was found it needed new wiring harnesses. Instead of doing the recall the dealership bought it back and totaled the c ar......so it ain't cheap.

They can refuse service if they want. They may catch some flack from Ford, but its there decision. You never know, maybe there light staffed or heavy on work, your car could have been tied up for a while, they may have saved you.

On the harness, well thats a no brainer, why did you wait so long

Each dealer can choose to service whoever they want. You can complain directly to Ford MoCo, although I don't think that would help too much as they aren't refusing service they have to perform (ie warranty work).
You could try and find out more about why they won't work on it, see if it's a real policy (ie printed) and review it if you choose.
Personally I've never run across this, and it's definitely not a Ford MoCo policy.

Sounds to me like they only want to work on 'current' vehicles, which would make me question their mechanics abilities.

Thinking about it, I have actually known a dealership (Vauxhall back in UK years ago) who would only do warranty work. That was because they were primarily a seller, and not equipped for extra workloads. They turned me away one day, explaining this (more or less), but did recommend many places to go.

If in doubt though, ask. It's the only way you'll get to the bottom of this.
