Subaru has no intention of fleet sales for AVIS, Hertz, and Alamo a la Ford and the Contour. Maybe not an SVT, but still fleet sales and still a Contour.

Everybody has Mustangs, and F-Bodies, and Type-R's, and GSX's, are they $hitty cars? The rationale is lacking.

Further, the Japanese spec car is putting out close to 300hp with basically the same trans. Further, there are quite a few Scoobs droopping 250 to the wheels in the stock box with no build-up? Your point?

Again, I'll point out I walked out the door at $22K with a trade on a mostly beat 95LX. $22k for a car that will work over 99% of all the Contours in the world. Make sure you check you production facts before showing me Demon's #'s and David Z's numbers etc etc. For a whopping total of 15 cars that I have to worry about of the Contour world. And I'm still stock!!!!

Thank you OCartman for pointing out the positives of the car. If you want a luxo-sedan buy a Maxima, or an IS300, or an Altima or a Jetta GLX...

Also, the 2.0L is to conform with the WRC limitations for the racing class. They could use a bigger motor, but the homologation class would change. BTW, tell that displacement joke to the next S2000 you run across.

This is so beat....the argument always changes so that the SVT won't lose, but in fact it usually will. cool

Thanks for listening to the rant.
