That's the problem, erveryone has one, mainly non-enthusiasts at that. I know this might not be a problem for most people but it drives me insane. What's the point of having a WRX if everyone else does? There is no exclusivity, no individuality. I have driven one, and yes it is fast and fairly nimble, but if I'm dropping money on a car I want it to stand out somewhat....I shouldn't have to spend 3-4k on aesthetic mods to differentiate from the 90 million WRX's on the road.
That may seem petty to some people but for me it makes all the difference in the world. Before I had bought my SVT I had thought about getting an Eclipse GSX but quickly changed my mind once I realized how common Eclipses' are on the tuner scene. What's the point of doing something to your car if 20,000 people have done it before you? Becomes played out IMHO
