OP Kal_dup1 CEG\'er K Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 55 Montreal, Canada	Hey; I have a 98 mystique and the upper intake pipes on top are made of very rough alloy casting!! I Used to think they were smooth grey . I still see pictures whewre they really seem to be made of a mooth grey material or at least gryish! DO I have an unually corroded intake!! that it is so rough now? ( somehwat the roughness of a seat stone. I have also seen pictures where the right side ( left as you stand infront of the car) of the engine right where the timing chains would be behind is actually silver as well! and actually spotty and starting to loose that silver in soome spots! most of th epictures I've seen taht part is black!! well I found this : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/AndiesBrandies/32201.jpg My engine headres and left side actually look like this!! how come some pics show a black thing on the side? next to the motmor mount and to the left of the oil cap!? I see some in black on non SVTs. Check the mexican contour in this link! We were the unlucky ones that didn't get ours painted... 1999 Mystique LS V6 Alpine CDA-9807, Rear deck sub, Opt. TB, K&N RU-3530/MAF adaptor, custom heatshield, FSVT 17's, SCT 4-program chip, Eibach's/ST200's, Hella Fogs...
