That should not matter. A reasonable expectation would be they keep the car for 3-4 days, max, while they wait for parts & such. Beyond that, they are potential causing you hardship through loss of use of your vehicle & could be expected to pony up for a loaner or rental.
If what they did initially didn't fix the problem, they should have tested the parts before replacing them. Those parts & the labor to replace them you should not have to pay for, they were probably working fine, therefore should not have been replaced.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
