haha dont i know it. I called them today and they said they should be getting the part/putting it in 2mar. So hopefully the new speedo fixes the problem.

Oh man that sucks...i can't go for more than one day without driving my car!!! 23 days to fix a damn fuel gauge problem?? You gotta be sh!tting me!!! When i had my car into the stealership, I was having the Heater only blows on hi prob and they told me it would cost 123.00 to fix, plus the 80.00 to look at it (which included 15.00 "hazardous waste disposal" charge )  Last time i ever will take it there! There's a reputable Ford dealership about 15 min. west of here that i would consider taking my car to, but i have no faith in dealerships anymore.

ya the very first post I wrote a day by day analysis on the process. They have tried like 5 different things now to fix the problem (all documented in the 1st post). last thing was that when they disconnect the speedo the gas gauge reads right and the low fuel light turns off so they think replacing the speedo will fix it. these guys dont know sh]t from shinola. im about to say...'i bet if you change the blinker fluid it will fix it'...just to see how long it takes for them to get the joke....prob another 23 days  im so bitter.

LMAO, yeah, you're prolly right. You should be bitter, i woulda said fugg em by now...and i hope the don't charge you an arm and a leg cause they don't know what the fugg they're doin..i'd do some serious arse kickin if they did!! Hope they get it fixed quick mang.

GOT THE CALL TODAY...CAR IS FINISHED !! 
23 days later 
They called at 5:03 and close at 5:30 well needless to say I got the voice mail at around 6 so I have to pick it up tomarrow morning....chalk the "Stealership has my car day count" up to 24 days.
I cant wait to see this bill...they better give me a HUGE price break after all this aggrevation if they know whats good for them b/c if not ohhhhhh the a$$ raping that will ensue.

If they give you a huge bill... Ask if they will take the rental car cost off the total, or will they write a separate check to you. 24 days at $32 per day = $768

thats the thing though, its not under warranty so I couldnt get a rental car and have them pay. I have another car that I have been using (which ofcource they don't know). Even if they would offer to pay for a rental car bill Im sure they wouldnt right a check out into my name w/out a receipt from hertz or the like.
I just want a cut of the bill itself...b/c if they charge some rediculous amount I'm goin ape shyt

That should not matter. A reasonable expectation would be they keep the car for 3-4 days, max, while they wait for parts & such. Beyond that, they are potential causing you hardship through loss of use of your vehicle & could be expected to pony up for a loaner or rental.
If what they did initially didn't fix the problem, they should have tested the parts before replacing them. Those parts & the labor to replace them you should not have to pay for, they were probably working fine, therefore should not have been replaced.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
