There is a recall on the fuel necks on the contours. I haven't had this problem but when i was checking on all the recalls at my friendly ford dealership it was on the list. I told the guy that i wanted it done but he says that they only replace them if you are having problems with it. Its worth looking into and if it hasn't been done to yours it will be free.Its best to just call and give them your VIN# and ask them if its been done yet. lol!
