I'm assuming this is some sort of problem with my PATS system as it seems to be the starter being disabled. is there something I can do to beef up the system or has anyone had this happen before?

a quick reply would be helpful, and I know about search, but I haven't found anything actually useful as of yet.

My PATS light would blink and the car wouldn't try to crank if I turned it off with the wipers on...go figure. Could your wipers have been on?

nope, wipers aren't the problem, otherwise when it does come on they would too

I'll have to try the jump start thing as it's getting pretty bad now. I actually had suspicions that my battery is dying on me even tho according to autozone it's still good.

?-if I did a battery relocation, could I basically just buy some thick ass 0 gauge wire for the positive, and then ground out the negative in the rear? if that would work I'm thinkin I'll pickup a yellow topper or a red top and mount it all up in the trunk.

anyone interested in the result, I took my car in to Brandy's a local car repair shop that I've gone to for previous cars and they did some tests and figured out the starter was the weak link. so tomorrow morning they're getting a replacement in from somewhere and they're gonna have it ready for me around noon. total on the estimate is lik 510 bux all together

I just know I could have ordered one and installed it myself for cheaper but I don't have the time to do it unfortunately. blech, I hate having no free time
