Well man, dunno how to put it - no offence - when I hit some Miami clubs - Club Space and Opium Garden - them being nice and all - they felt completely different to what I am used to in NYC. Well, all of "my" NYC clubs got shut down anyway...

I wouldn't contest that, since I was never a real hard-core clubbing person. I had a nasty curphew through most of my childhood into my late teens and even into some of my early adulthood (rules of the parent's house ), so I only have clubbed a little more recently now that I moved in alone.

Wait, Nikki Beach was great though! And now we got the franchises of the originally Miami clubs such as Crobar. Also I heard that back in the day Liquid was the place to go. Ever been there?

I heard of liquid back in the day but never went. Space is awesome but I am dieing to see what they have done with it after remodeling... I have not gone to Nikki Beach but I did go to Pearl on the second floor. I had a gift certificate for 4 people and ate an awesome NY Angus 14oz steak .

Unless it's a theme night. I really can't find anything likeable in the new clubs such Avalon, Crobar, Spirit, etc. The vibe is gone. Maybe I am just old. Maybe I am one life, one love, one club type of guy, so there's nothing like Sound Factory to me...

There have been talks of sound factory opening again soon, and JP has recently left spirit so...

ny is not gonna see clubs like tunnel limelight sound factory again. the superclubs are gone. just the nature of the business. so we gotta do with what we have and club at the new places. its not the same but better than sitting home reading hardy boys novels

WOW, when JP left Spirit???? I missed that. D'ya know where he is spinning now?

May 5th or something Richie Grant, the SF owner, was supposed to go on trial, so maybe the re-opening has something to do with that.
