my take on it is when its painted black it gives it a more agressive look and makes it look a litter newer since cars out now such as the newer Audi's etc. have it this way, and also looks sportier like how the Mustang Cobra's have it black. When it is painted to match the car it looks more like you bought an aftermarket kit for it and are trying to "G" it up ie. lower it, put dual exhaust on it etc. like what some ppl do to cavaliers and whatnot. Painted black just makes it look sportier and stock. It all depends on what look your going for. my two pennies.

How about painting it Navy Blue?

I mean, not an obvious shade of it. Something close to black that still matches your styling on the side of the doors..

I'm just offering a "different" suggestion

Leave it white! I think it looks clean, also the black would contrast the navy blue graphics in an odd way. I dont think that the stock arguement is valid since its a mystique, why make it look just like an svt? Be unique. Again this is my opinion, but do what you think looks best, you drive the car, not me.
Bummer about that dent, but I didnt notice it until it was pointed out.
