Hey everyone. I am excited to announce that I have finally gotten my side skirts and SVT rear installed on my Mystique, but the dealership effed up the paint job on the rear so I need some constructive criticism about what I should do. As you can see from the picture they did not paint the lower part of the bumper black like it should be. Should I leave it painted as it was, or go back and get them to paint it properly?

Personally I like it better when the insert thing is painted black....gives a nice contrast.
Nice work on the mystique, btw, you should buy the SVT front off of NVS, it will fit a stique.

I think you should paint the bottom black. It looks alot better that way. And fix that area below your tailight.

Curious...did you tell them to paint the bumper white? Or did you specifically tell them "this much is white and this area down here is suppose to be black"? You can't assume they know anything of how its suppose to be. Just in case you weren't specific with your instructions, they might try and say it was your fault.

Me, I'd leave it, I like it all one color. Originally posted by CSVT1214: And fix that area below your tailight.

Yah, I have been talking to NVS about that, just trying to see where I stand financially and wanted to see how it all looked first, but that would be icing on the cake. As for that stupid dent...ugh, $550 they quoted me to fix it and it was 5km/h hit, just frustrating. But that will be next after I debadge the rear.

Well what happened was that I had to leave the country for a few weeks and left the car with them and had the bumper shipped directly to them and asked for them to install and paint...there wasn't any instructions given, I kinda assumed they would do it right...I don't really care if I have to pay a little extra to fix it, but now that it's done this way, I want to see what ppl think. Maybe I'll post a few more pics tomorrow morn.

I like it all white...
But, go back to them if you think it should be black and see what they will do...

you don't really have any other black items on the car so I would just leave it.
