Yes we do. There are 7.7m "unemployed" people in the US, according to www.dol.giv. It is hard to estimate the number of illegals in the country, but most sources put it around 10-11m. Now, let's assume that most of the illegals actually have a "job" (if they are without one for long, they go home, since it is cheaper to be broke in Mexico than in the US).
So if you sent each and every unemployed person in the US to work, there would be still about 3m positions unfilled. You're right, we have an employment problem.
