I say give them a drivers license so that we can at least have a way to track them. I understand that a lot of people want the illegals out of the country but those people are not looking at both sides. For example put yourself in the shoes of one of my friends who is an illegal in this country. When he was fifteen yrs. old both of his parents died in a car crash in Mexico. He is the second oldest of six kids and the only male. He took over his dad's furniture business but wasn't making enough money. He had a cousin in Cali who was making decent money in construction and figured that that was the way he could support his five sisters. So he came here illegaly and began busting his ass so that he could send money to his sisters. He has been here over ten years now and he has sent most of his money back to Mexico for his sisters to have food, shelter, and even money for them to go to college. He's a very hard worker (as are most Mexicans that i've met) and just an all around good guy. Now I know that not all the illegals in this country have the same story, but I know a lot of them that are here because there is more oppurtunity here than in their countries. They just want help their families and have better lives like the rest of us. So I say give them a driver's license and we'll be able to better know who's here and keep track of them instead of just not knowing. Because they're going to keep coming back anyway.

"Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?"
