Very good adaptation no matter what some "fans" might tell you. They're just mad that the movie is mainstream. It's Lord of the Rings syndrome.
Marvin needed a bit more variation in his lines (He got a bit too close to Jar Jar status) but Zaphod and Ford were great. I loved the cheap, but simple animations for the guide, and who can forget Ford Prefect's towel? Chasing off the Vorgons with a towel is classic.
