What year Contour did you get it from? Sounds like it's almost too easy to be true. So those two screws come off, and the plastic covering literally just pops up over the hazard switch? Wow, something easy on a Ford.




It's very easy. A CEG guy from PA (sorry I forget his name) got me one from a junkyard the same time he got his. It only took 5 or 10 minutes to install, and I'm no mechanic.

But upgrading doesn't work for everyone, not sure what the factors are.
