Titanium Silver, like on the M3 Showcar.
Probably one of the best looking paints out there.
It's a deeper silver than the Silver frost, but it's got a Titanium tint.
It's gorgeous.

HEre is Steel Gray which I'm pretty fond of: http://bmw.jedinite.com/my328i_exterior_challenges.html Couldn't find pics of the Titanium Silver, but if you do a search on Altavista I'm sure you'll find something. The highly-metallic silver BMW used for the M3 showcar didn't see production for a reason of course... poor durability and resistance to weather. So what to do they do? Yuck! The Pheonix Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue are both pretty hideous. Can't believe they left the M5 Lemans Blue off the M3 option list... but that's what BMW Individual is for I guess. T.

what do ya think of black with a blue pearl. Not heavy but enuff to have it change color somewhat in sun. Or with these pearl colors: green, red, silver, or black cherry (whatever that is)...

sorry, i meant "Dark Cherry" doh! if you add a pearlescent overspray, it would shimmer between red-black - it has a "Mystic" paint look without the Green/Brown colors ------------------ Toadster - Todd Christ '98 Silver Frost SVT#1037 of 6535 built Moderator: CEG Northern CA Forum Toadster's SVT Roundup - home of the Contour SVT Owner's List MODS: KKM Intake, TH-Fix, Synthetic Oil, 18% Llumar tint all-around, 9006CB Headlamps, TBD....[This message has been edited by Toadster (edited January 14, 2001).]

I've also been partial to the 1996 Mustang Color Tangerine this pic doesn't do it justice, but it DOES scream out - PULL ME OVER PIG!!! ------------------ Toadster - Todd Christ '98 Silver Frost SVT#1037 of 6535 built Moderator: CEG Northern CA Forum Toadster's SVT Roundup - home of the Contour SVT Owner's List MODS: KKM Intake, TH-Fix, Synthetic Oil, 18% Llumar tint all-around, 9006CB Headlamps, TBD....

Do some sort of design in the pearl clearcoat, then more regular clear over it. I have seen it done w/ checkerboards or stripes etc.
I always wanted to see a black Viper GTS w/ the stripes done in pearl, so you can only really see them if you are looking for them or catch the light just right.
It's all about balance.

I want to see the rest of that car toadster. It looked sweet!
RARA, I was thinking about a dark grey pearl in the design of flames on Black. Kind of ghost flames. Definitely catch some looks.
Good ideas so far guys...thanx for the responses. I liked the porsche and the bright green but those might be too bright. But I do want to stand out. Want it to look diferent than what everybody else got..
