***Update*** With each passing mile I'm really liking this car, more and more everyday! Even though we have them around here, it gets alot of looks which isn't why I leased it, but its still cool. I was at the drive-thru at the bank last week with my wife and the teller said "we're all checking out your car". Besides the curb appeal, the car just pulls on the freeway and since its not broken it yet I don't know about the stoplight wars, yet I doubt I'll be out "calling anyone out", but when you look at the perf numbers it is 1 sec faster to 60 than the CSVT and almost a second faster in the quarter and when you factor in the tall gearing (3.25) thats pretty good IMO. I'm ordering some custom emblem stickers for the car and plan on painting the calipers red. Other plans are 50% window tint, Magnaflow muffer and a "plug and play" HID kit, its only $290 shipped to my house, so its not going to break the bank. The muffler is only $100.00, so again, not a big investment

I KNEW you wouldn't leave it alone!! Lol, glad to see you are enjoying the crossfire more and more. I still need to scavenge some time to come over so you can check out my audio system and I can burn rubber in your new ride, lol.

We're going to test these numbers on Memorial weekend I think. I'm calling BS Roger. I'll bring the 12 year old SHO. The HP & weight don't equal 0-60 of 5.9. Magazines back my theory up.

That may be the official literature times, but even regular Duratec 5 speeds run 7.8 magazine times. I think there was one test where the SVT ran that slow and they just didn't know how to drive.

The SVT magazine times 7s +/- a couple tenths.

I'm only quoting the Chrysler litature, but I can tell you this, it will beat a stock CSVT in the quarter mile and with its restrictive muffler replaced w/ the Magnaflow I ordered yesterday, it will be a bit better. I'm not going to say this car is better than the CSVT because the two cars are different, i.e. FWR vs. RWD, but I can say this, the car has ALOT more torque and weighs about 250-300lbs less than the CSVT. As far as racing Todd, I don't think I'll be doing that unless we have a long side road like the one on the side of Lane Automotive

Yet another update on my new ride. I got a couple mods done today:

-50% window tint

-custom Crossfire decals that cover up the Chrysler ones

-Magnaflow #14220 muffler, using the stock tips

I didn't have quite enough time to "test it out", but I'll say this, if, and I mean IF, the car had a V8 badge on it, you wouldn't know the difference, it sounds that good! Memo to those of you who don't know me....I'M NOT PUTTING A V8 BADGE ON IT I'm looking forward to our next meet, should be interesting
